Hey Marty I am glad you enjoyed it. We have purchased another camper a few weeks back, older camper. We lost the awning yesterday so that needs to be replaced. This camper is older we decided to downgrade so we can go camping more. We are going this weekend and we will post pictureswhen we get back.

Where did you end up camping for Father's Day? We are going to KOA Bristol TN. June 27th for 3 nights. Then going to Paradise Lake for the 4th of July. A couple good camping weekends ahead. Not looking forward to the gas bill going to TN. Paul

I really enjoyed reading your blog from T-Park. We visit 2-3 times a year, before gas increase any way. That ia an awesome campground, a hard one to match. We are going to KOA in Bristol the last weekend of June we hope that is a nice campground.

We go to Trav-L-Park in October for fear fest weekend, you should look into it, it is a real blast. This past weekend I rode in the MS 150 in Charlottesville, we camped 3 nights at Misty Mountain Campground, have you ever camped there? We did not like it, very tight to negotiate and way too close camping quaters, your neighbor is only inches away from you. I would not reccomend Misty Mountain.

We are camping Paradise lake for the 4th of July, 7 friends from work have RVs and we have sites reserved for all of us, should be a really good time.

We are yet to stay at running cedar, have you camped there yet? I like the fact it is so close, hoping to get there in July. Enjoy reading your blog keep them coming, Paul ( The Calland Family )

Hi Ashman's!! Are you guy's still actively camping?? I hope all is well with you and you are enjoying your camper. These gas prices have altered our camping plans, as far as the more distant campgrounds anyway. Take care, The Calland Family.

This takes me back to good memories. Chris and Nicole there is an awesome book I recommend reading it is called "The sacred romance" and it talkes so much to me about my romances w/god when I younger and a lot of these encounters were camping. It never ceases to amaze me what an awesome god we have. Enjoy all of you blessings. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
XOXOX,
Katherine

That sounds like you had a wonderful time! This is good information on the 2 campsites NOT to get. We want to camp there this year so that helps us eliminate 2 problems before experiencing them, Thanks, The Calland Family.

Sounds awesome!! We are the proud owners of a new Coachman Spirit of America series camper. 28ft. We bought ours 12/22/07. We have been camping in the driveway for three months! I feel like with all that experience we are ready for the road as well.
We are previous tenters and moved up to a pop up that we had for one summer and immediatley wanted more. We are going on a shake down run 3/29/08 weekend to Smith Mountain Lake State Park. We have several camping trips reserved this season. I think we got a little excited and booked too many.
I drove out to Running cedar rv resort and hope to camp there some this year as well.
We bought our camper from Forest RV, they are great people to do business with. We live in Lynchburg so the store is convenient. Hope to meet some of you at the campgrounds this year, The Calland family.

I can see and feel all the excitement on th boys faces as they were watching the camper. You know those butterflies and exciting fears like we had when we were younger when dad pulled our trailer (feeling like it would fall off) or when mom had to back the trailer in to a camping spot to park it ( fearin we would hit a tree). These memories will live in our hearts forever. I am so happy that your kids and Nicole are going to be able to experience this those wonderfull times and the memories will live on.

Nicole,
We enjoyed having Faith stay with us. She was such a pleasure. We hope to be able to have her again. I wish we could all live closer so they can all grow up together as Richars did w/ his cousins.

God Bye for now
Love ya,
Katherine
